Adobe Acrobat Reader

Download Help will lead you through the process of downloading and installing Adobe Acrobat Reader.

1. Click the icon on the right to open up the Adobe Acrobat Reader web site in a new window.

2. Read through the information to make sure the download version is correct for your computer's operating system. Then click "download." (Note: if you do not wish to download the Adobe Yahoo! toolbar or the Adobe Photoshop® Album Starter Edition, click the green check marks to exclude them from your download.)

3. After the browser loads the new page, the download of Acrobat Reader should begin automatically, but if it does not, click the text, "click here to download."

4. You will then get a dialogue box with options to run or save the file.

5. Click "Run,"(if you prefer to save the file, go to step 6). The file should begin downloading and then automatically run when it is finished. Follow the program instructions to finish the installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

6. If you choose to save the file to your computer, click "Save." Choose the directory where you want to save the installation file. After you have done this, wait for the file to finish downloading and then open "My Computer" on your desktop. Double click the "C" drive (your computer may use a different letter) to view the contents of your hard drive. Find the directory where you saved the installation file. Run the installation file by double clicking it, then follow the program instructions to finish the installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
